Dream Castle In the Sky

 

  1. The tall trees tower above the tired tide. I am watching as the clouds painted pictures of his distant dreams. I sit on the cool rock hoping one day my life will be exactly the way I dream it to be. Owning a castle in a far off land may not come to life, but at this moment I am content with just my thoughts. The water is a sparkling sapphire in the sun rise and the trees are like a calming canopy. I am calm and truly happy but deep inside, I dream and hope for more. 

  2. The painting is full of color. The blues and greens swirl together creating the perfect image of water in the distance. The clouds look like the sun is just rising with the perfect shades of purple and yellow. The man lays on a rock looking out into the distance at the shapes the clouds are making. He lays under tall trees that look very old and yet healthy and strong. Landscape.

Reading Journal for Station Eleven

- I n section three, the novel flashes back to Arthur’s life before the outbreak of the Georgian Flu. What do we learn about him in these chapters? -We learned about where he grew up and a little bit about his childhood on the island. It seemed peaceful but it wasn't fulfilling his desires for life and he wanted so much more. He went to school in Toronto but didn't like it so he started acting classes instead. Tried to get into the acting world and struggled for a while. He met up with a girl from his hometown that his mother told him he should take to lunch cause it would be nice for her and good for him as well. They had a good lunch and then didn't talk again for many years. Arthur ended up landing a few bigger roles and ended up traveling to New York and LA for acting. He ended up booking something back in Toronto and Ended up hitting up that girl, Miranda, from his hometown. They hit it off and got married after a while.
