Blog dive into dystopia

Why do you feel dystopian novels (which envision a future where the world has gone wrong) are a trending genre in fiction? What are some other dystopian books you have read? Dystopian is the main genre that I gravitate towards. I have read Hunger Games, Maze Runner, The Selection, Lightlark, Uglies,The Darkest Minds,ect.   Pollan’s essay is as much about the problem of problem-solving as it is a proposal for dealing with climate change.
